Jackie Cornejo is a proud L.A. native, and spent most of her childhood in the Crenshaw neighborhood of South LA.  She is the Director of the Don’t Waste LA Campaign at the Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy (LAANE).  She was previously Director of the Construction Careers Campaign, advocating for local hire and higher standards in the construction industry in Los Angeles. When she’s not pursuing her interests in community-based planning, and infrastructure issues in communities of color, she can be found riding a bus or rail car around L.A.  Contact Jackie
